Adapture Renewables, Inc. has announced that its Cherry Valley Solar Energy Project in Cross County, Arkansas, has achieved substantial completion and entered commercial operations, marking the close of a significant chapter in the California-based company's development history.

The Cherry Valley Solar Energy Project is an 185-megawatt utility-scale renewable energy facility situated in Cross County, Arkansas. The project is expected to generate sufficient clean energy to power approximately 30,000 Arkansas homes on an annual basis. According to the company, the project reached substantial completion on schedule at the end of last year before transitioning to full commercial operation.

Adapture described the facility as contributing long-term, locally sourced clean power to meet what it characterized as growing regional energy demand. The project is expected to deliver an estimated USD 16 million in economic impact to the region over its operational lifetime, funds the company said could help support local public services and infrastructure.

Completion of the Titanium Portfolio

Cherry Valley represents the final project to achieve commercial operation within Adapture's Titanium Portfolio, a three-site collection of utility-scale solar assets spanning Arkansas and Illinois.

The Titanium Portfolio totals 441 megawatts of generation capacity across its three locations. With Cherry Valley now operational, Adapture has brought the entire portfolio from development through to full commercial operation.
