Adani Green Energy Commissions 250 MW Solar PV Project in Andhra Pradesh
Adani Green Energy one of the largest renewable energy companies in India has announced that its wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, Adani Solar Energy Ap Eight, has commissioned a 250 MW solar power project at Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. With the commissioning of this plant, AGELs total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 12,591.1 MW. The newly commissioned solar power plant has commenced its operations on March 8, 2025.

The project, situated in the Kadapa region of Andhra Pradesh, marks another step in AGEL's ambitious journey towards a sustainable energy future . Furthermore, the involvement of Adani Solar Energy Ap Eight Private Limited, a dedicated subsidiary, highlights the focused approach of the Adani Group in managing and executing its renewable energy projects in India
AGEL aims to achieve 50 GW renewable energy portfolio by the year 2030. Currently, AGEL's operational portfolio comprises 8,597.5 MW of solar energy, 1,651 MW of wind power, and 2,259.6 MW of wind-solar hybrid capacity.
