ABO Energy (renewable energy developer) has announced significant construction progress at its Tasdorf Wind Farm development near Neumünster in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, with the completion of foundation concrete works for three wind turbines marking what the company describes as an important milestone for the project.
Foundation Works Reach Completion
The construction team at Tasdorf has successfully finished the foundation concrete works for three of the wind turbines planned for the site. According to ABO Energy, the excavation areas surrounding the foundations and construction zones have now been backfilled, bringing that phase of ground-level civil works to a close.
The completion of the concrete foundation works represents a key stage in the broader construction timeline, as it allows subsequent phases of site preparation to move forward. ABO Energy confirmed that final site preparations are currently underway following the backfilling work.

Access Road Infrastructure Next in Line
With ground preparation work advancing, the project team is now focused on the installation of access road plates across the site. ABO Energy stated that these road plates are intended to enable the transport of major wind turbine components to the construction site, a logistical requirement given the scale and weight of the turbine hardware that will need to be moved into position during the installation phase.
The sequencing of this infrastructure work reflects standard practice in wind farm construction, where stable and load-bearing site access routes must be established before heavy component deliveries can begin.

Eight Nordex N149 Turbines Planned for Completed Farm
When fully built out, the Tasdorf Wind Farm will comprise eight Nordex N149 wind turbines. ABO Energy has not specified in this update the total installed capacity of the completed project, nor has it provided a timeline for when the remaining turbine foundations will be completed or when the full facility is expected to become operational.
The Nordex N149 is a turbine model produced by the Hamburg-based wind energy manufacturer Nordex, and its selection for the Tasdorf project reflects ABO Energy's equipment choices for this particular site in northern Germany.
Project Located Near Neumünster in Northern Germany
The Tasdorf Wind Farm is situated near Neumünster, a city in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany. The region is one of Germany's established areas for wind energy development, benefiting from the wind conditions characteristic of the northern part of the country.
ABO Energy, which has more than 49,000 followers on its LinkedIn platform, has been providing project updates on the Tasdorf development through its social media channels and maintains a dedicated project page on its website, available in the German language, for those wishing to follow the construction journey in greater detail.
