SECI Invites Bids for 1.2 GW of ISTS Connected Wind Solar Hybrid Projects

The Solar Energy Corporation of India has issued a tender to develop 1,200 MW of interstate transmission system-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects in India under tranche VIII. The project is expected to be commissioned within 24 months of the PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) signing date. The last date for submission of bids is March 29, 2024.

The minimum capacity of each project should be 50 MW, and the maximum capacity is limited to 600 MW. Bidding is open to all interested developers, both domestic and international, creating a competitive landscape and potentially lowering costs through efficient project execution.
