JA Solar is one of the well-known solar panel manufacturing companies with 12 manufacturing bases and over 20 branches globally. Founded in 2005, it is headquartered in Beijing, China, and is known for its high-efficiency solar modules installed in large-scale ground-mounted power plants. Apart from power plants, it is known to deliver successful residential, commercial, and industrial rooftop PV systems in more than 120 countries and regions.
Its portfolio is huge and includes products such as MBB Half-Cell Module and MBB Bifacial PERC Half-Cell Double Glass Module available in 54-cell, 60-cell, and 72-cell configurations.
On 13th august 2025, JA Solar announced signing two module agreements with JUWI Renewables Energies for a solar project in South Africa totaling 220 MWac. The projects will deploy 420,000 of JA Solar's high-efficiency DeepBlue 4.0 Pro modules.
On 22nd July 2025, JA Solar announced it will supply 1 GW of solar modules to the UAE's Masdar for two solar projects in Azerbaijan. As per the agreement, JA Solar will provide its DeepBlue 4.0 Pro PV modules for the Banka and Bilasuvar solar projects.

Shunfeng International Clean Energy (Suntech)

Suntech Power is one of the prominent Chinese manufacturers founded in 2001. It was one of the first Chinese solar companies known to deliver over 30 GW of solar modules across the globe. In 2014, Shunfeng International Clean Energy (also known as Shunfeng Photovoltaic International) acquired Wuxi Suntech, which was the main subsidiary of Suntech Power after Suntech declared bankruptcy in 2013.
