The project is in the early stages of development, with preliminary community engagement and planning applications underway.

The proposed Pottinger Energy Park project is located approximately 60km south of Hay and 75km north of Deniliquin in NSW’s historic Western Riverina region. The project is located within NSW’s South West Renewable Energy Zone.

Project Objectives
The primary objective is to generate clean and renewable electricity on a large scale. The expected output of the park, estimated to power over 850,000 homes, is a significant step towards reducing Australia's reliance on fossil fuels and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.
The project is designed to provide a significant economic boost to the surrounding region. It's estimated to create up to 800 jobs during construction and 60 ongoing operational jobs, contributing to local employment and economic growth.
