China State Construction Engineering Corp Ltd. (CSCECL) is the listed public company of China State Construction Engineering Corporation - the biggest construction company in the world in terms of revenue. CSCECL is also among the world's top 10 largest General Contractor firms. Headquartered in Beijing, China, the company operates in Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and North America. 

The EPC company has built more than 90% of the skyscrapers above 300 meters in China. Moreover, the company is credited with having built three-quarters of the airports, half of the Nuclear power plants, three-quarters of the satellite launch bases, and one-third of the urban utility tunnel infrastructure in China.

In July 2025, Egypt advanced its New Administrative Capital project, with China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) confirmed as both the main contractor and operator of the central business district. The USD 3.8 billion CBD will feature government institutions, foreign embassies, and commercial hubs within the 700 sq km city designed to house over six million people and ease Cairo’s congestion.

In July 2025, Arada awarded a AED678 million main construction contract to China Railway Group subsidiary China Tiesju Civil Engineering for the Armani Beach Residences at Palm Jumeirah. The ultra-luxury development is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027, setting a new benchmark in Dubai’s high-end residential market.

China Railway Construction Corp Ltd. (CRCC)

China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC) provides transportation infrastructure construction services. On March 31, 2025, Ethiopia’s Ministry of Culture and Sports signed an 18.6 billion Birr contract with China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) to complete Phase II Lot 2 of the Adey Ababa International Stadium. The agreement was formalized in Addis Ababa by Minister Shewit Shanka and CCCC Deputy General Manager Xin Bin.

Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA)

On July 21, 2025, VINCI announced that its Australian subsidiary Seymour Whyte secured three construction contracts worth €431 million (AUD 773 million). The projects include the Coomera Connector’s southern section in Gold Coast, road renovation and a new bridge in Moreton Bay, and the design and build of the M5 Motorway Westbound Upgrade in Sydney.

Grupo ACS

ACS, Actividades de Construcción y Servicios, S.A. is one of the largest EPC contractors based in Madrid, Spain. The company, led by chairman Florentino Pérez, is involved in civil engineering, construction, all types of services, and telecommunications.

The company was founded in 1997 through the merger of OCP Construcciones, S.A. and Ginés Navarro Construcciones, S.A. The Spanish conglomerate has a presence in several countries, including the United States, Germany, India, Brazil, Chile, Morocco, and Australia.

In August 2024, ACS Group and German construction giant Hochtief announced the merger of their US subsidiaries, Flatiron Construction and Dragados. This strategic consolidation will create Flatiron Dragados as the second-largest civil engineering and construction company in the US.  

ACS and Acciona have been awarded a huge investment of approximately EUR 9.8 billion to construct the SR400 toll road located in Atlanta, US, as reported by El Confidencial. Some of the major divisions and partners of ACS include Hochtief, Dragados, Cobra, Cimic Group, and Abertis Infraestructuras.

Bouygues SA

Bouygues SA (Bouygues) is one of the top 10 construction companies in the world. The French industrial group operates in the construction, real estate development, media, and telecommunication markets. It carries out construction contracts for roads, airport runways, seaports, industrial infrastructure, parking areas, recreational facilities, and electrical and civil work developments. 

The company also develops residential, commercial establishments, and retail parks and produces and recycles construction materials such as aggregates, asphalt mixes, bitumen, ready-mix concrete and emulsions, and binders. In August 2024, the consortium, including Bougues, was selected as the preferred alliance partner to deliver South Australia’s biggest-ever infrastructure project.  The 10.5km long River Torrens to Darlington Project (T2D Project) North-South Corridor will be built in association with John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs, and Ventia.

Daiwa House

Daiwa House Industry Co Ltd (Daiwa House) is one of the largest home builders in Japan. The company is focused on the construction of single-family houses, rental housing, condominiums, commercial facilities, logistics and distribution facilities, and medical and nursing care facilities.

The company has been the largest homebuilder by volume in the United States since 2002, with more than 1,100,000 homes being constructed. D.R. Currently, D.R. Horton advanced plans for The Enclave at Carver Park, a multiyear housing development in Carver, Minnesota, that will deliver 530 homes, including 117 townhomes, on a 259-acre site near Highway 212 and Johnathan Carver Parkway. 

The project, set for phased completion by 2032, is currently undergoing an environmental review, with public comments open until September 11 before the City Council decides if a full Environmental Impact Statement is required.

L&T Construction

L&T Construction is one of the largest EPC contractors and construction companies in the world. Headquartered in Mumbai, India, the multinational conglomerate company operates in diverse sectors, including engineering, construction, manufacturing, technology, information technology, and financial services.

L&T Technology Services Limited, the technology division of L&T, signed another long-term agreement to provide integrated engineering and procurement services along with digital engineering services, data governance for capital projects, and digital project management consultancy for Shell’s global assets.

Recently, Larsen & Toubro’s Buildings & Factories vertical secured EPC contracts valued between INR 2,500 crore and INR 5,000 crore from state and central government agencies, including a major order from the CPWD to construct Common Central Secretariat buildings 6 and 7 in New Delhi. Additionally, L&T is in discussions with Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. for hospital construction projects across India worth an estimated INR 2,400 crore.

Sekisui House

Sekisui House Ltd (Sekisui Hausu) is the number one house builder in the world (as per the website), providing over 2.6 million homes to our customers both in Japan and globally. The construction company offers services such as planning, design, engineering, management, consultancy, real estate management and valuation, contracting, construction, landscaping supervision, and outside construction.

Set to debut on the F1 calendar in 2026, the project covers circuit construction, temporary event structures, and post-race road restoration, with completion expected by May 2026.

Kajima Corporation is the largest and oldest engineering, designing, and construction company in Japan. The company was founded in 1840 and has several subsidiaries across Asia, Oceania, Europe, and North America.
