Wrapping Up

Electric vehicles—especially, 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers—have become increasingly popular due to cost efficiency, noiseless and pollution-free operation, and minimal maintenance compared to conventional petrol-powered bikes and scooters.

Electric two- and three-wheeler vehicles, such as e-autos, e-bikes, e-scooters, and e-rickshaws, are available in a variety of colors, sizes, and specifications.

Increased investments, supportive government (central and state) policies and subsidies, and other significant growth drivers are accelerating electric vehicle manufacturing in India’s booming EV market.

While electric two-wheelers are extremely popular as passenger vehicles, electric three-wheelers play a key role in last-mile passenger and cargo mobility. Together, these are redefining electric mobility in India.
