It has an installed renewable capacity of 51.42 GW (including solar and wind) as of 2024. It provides services across various sectors such as energy, power, and infrastructure industries. Its operations are widespread in China and globally. 

 

It has consistently made it to the Fortune Global 500 for eleven consecutive years, through several renewable energy projects such as the Three Gorges Project, South-to-North Water Diversion Project, West-East Power Transmission Project, West-East Gas Pipeline Project, as well as significant achievements in three generations of nuclear power, among others, establishing multiple world records.

On 17th June 2025, CEEG's consortium, consisting of its subsidiary China Energy Engineering Group Jiangsu Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. (the consortium leader), China Energy Engineering Group Jiangsu Electric Power Construction No.3 Engineering Co., Ltd., and China Energy Engineering Group Anhui Electric Power Construction No.2 Engineering Co., Ltd., won a bid for the EPC general contracting for the Jiangyin Sulong Phase IV Expansion Project with a project cost of 5.0051 billion yuan (USD). 

This contract includes the construction of two new 2×660 MW ultra-supercritical, secondary reheat coal-fired generating units, along with the simultaneous installation of flue gas desulfurization and denitrification devices. The total project duration is approximately 22 months.

On 25th April 2025, CECG signed a financing agreement for Uzbekistan's 1 GW PV power generation project. This project is fully covered by China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (Sinosure) and Chinese banks.

SOLV Energy, founded in 2008, is one of the leading solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) companies in the world. This US-based EPC company was formerly known as Swinerton Renewable Energy. It is the third-largest global provider of operations and maintenance (O&M).

 

It operates across America and abroad. With a portfolio of more than 15 GW of solar energy projects across the globe, it is ranked as the top solar EPC company by several industry leaders. 

 

SOLV Energy's portfolio has about 300 project sites built so far, including 144 operating solar projects across the US

 

On 23rd June 2025, SOLV Energy announced the acquisition of Spartan Infrastructure as a part of its strategy to expand transmission and distribution (T&D) capabilities and create new growth opportunities. 

On 15th January 2025, SOLV Energy announced acquisition of Sacramento Drilling Inc (SDI services) for an undisclosed amount. The two companies have been working together since 2010 with SDI services. SDI Services providing predrill and pile foundation installation solutions to more than eight facilities constructed by SOLV Energy.

 

SOLV Energy, on 9th September 2024, announced that it will deliver 4 GW of solar capacity in 2024 and has about 3GW solar projects under construction in six states across the USA. This capacity includes Oregon's largest proposed solar project, with 1.6 GW; other projects are in Texas (1.2 GW) and the Midwest (990 MW).

 

Sterling & Wilson

Sterling & Wilson is one of the largest renewable energy company in India that offers MEP(Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) & EPC services. It delivers EPC and MEP services for solar energy and other sectors, such as power and data centers.

On 14th August 2025, Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy was declared as lowest bidder (L1) from PSU Developer for solar PV project in Gujarat. It secured a turn-key EPC package to develop 245 MW (AC) grid connected Solar PV Project in Gujarat, India.

 

On 13th February 2025, Morgan Stanley announced it has acquired 1.5% stake in Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWREL) for INR 103 crores through open market transaction.
